My chest is wide but my cup size is a B/C, I have room to spare so I would say it runs true to size or a bit large. It’s very comfortable and I can’t see any lines through my shirt.
I don't know why the marketing on this bra is so weird, but it is a very comfortable bra. It does have that classic "butter soft" texture. It doesn't have any wires, but is lightly padded (not push-up). It has just the right amount of contour for an A-C cup size.
